To qualify, applicants must:
- Be South African citizens.
- Reside within the Elias Motsoaledi Local Municipality, Limpopo province.
- Have completed Matric or are currently in Matric with a strong academic record.
- Intend to pursue one of the eligible fields of study in 2025.
- Have been accepted/provisionally accepted to a public higher education institution (university, university of technology, or TVET college).
- Demonstrate financial need, with preference given to previously disadvantaged students.
