The bursary is available for Engineering degree studies (BEng / BSc (Eng) / BIng) in the following fields:
- Chemical Engineering
- Civil Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Environmental Sciences
- Mechanical Engineering
Eligibility Requirements for the WSP Bursary 2025
Applicants must:
- Be South African citizens.
- Have completed Matric.
- Be studying towards one of the Engineering degrees listed above.
- Be entering their 2nd, 3rd, or final year of study in 2025.
- Be enrolled at a recognised and accredited university in South Africa.
- Have achieved a minimum overall average of 60% in their current qualification.
- Have passed all 2024 academic year subjects.
- Be passionate about engineering and dedicated to your studies.
- Not hold any other bursary or scholarship funding.
- Preference is given to previously disadvantaged candidates.

Required Documents:
- Certified copy of ID document.
- Certified copy of university registration proof.
- Most recent academic transcript or progress report (stamped by the university).
- Curriculum Vitae (with your cellphone number and email address).
- Signed declaration letter stating you do not have other bursary or scholarship funding for 2024/2025.
Closing Date
The application deadline has not been confirmed but it is better to apply early in order to be on the safe side.
