Service Contract & Selection Process
Service Commitment: Bursary recipients will complete vacation work at Siemens.
Selection: Eligible applicants will undergo a virtual video interview. Successful candidates will receive the bursary, while unsuccessful candidates will not be contacted.
Eligibility Requirements for the Siemens Bursary 2025
Applicants must meet these criteria:
- Be a South African citizen, aged 18-25.
- Be unemployed.
- Be in Matric (2024) or have completed Matric.
- Be studying or planning to study full-time in 2025 in one of the listed fields.
- Be enrolled at an accredited South African tertiary institution.
- Achieve:
- Minimum level 5 in English, Mathematics, and Physical Science.
- Overall average of at least 65% (current year of study).
- Demonstrate a passion for Engineering and Technology.
- Not hold any other funding (e.g., NSFAS, bursaries, scholarships).
- Meet registration requirements of the tertiary institution.
- Preference will be given to students from disadvantaged backgrounds.

- Grade 11 final results and Matric trial results (if in Matric).
