The bursary will be awarded to undergraduate students pursuing studies in the following fields:
- Aeronautical Engineering (BSc Eng)
- Computer Engineering (BEng)
- Electronic Engineering (BEng)
- Mechatronic Engineering (BEng)
What the Bursary Covers
The Milkor bursary covers the following expenses:
- Full tuition fees
- Study materials
- Accommodation and meals at University rates
Bursary recipients are required to complete two internships annually, and upon graduation, they must commit to a mandatory service period with Milkor.
Eligibility Requirements for the Milkor Bursary 2025
Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements for consideration:
- South African citizenship
- Reside in Cape Town or be willing to relocate to Cape Town
- Currently in Matric or have completed Matric
- Plan to study full-time towards one of the undergraduate qualifications listed above
- Be entering the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd year of study in 2025
- Study at a registered and accredited South African higher education institution (university)
